Ho appena visto Twenty di Cameron Crowe. Eddie Vedder spiega ancora una volta come buttino giù una scaletta completamente diversa ogni sera per adattarla al pubblico del luogo, in base alle esibizioni passate in quel determinato luogo, alle sensazioni ricevute dalla folla che attende la sera stessa. Esibirsi di volta in volta spaziando per tutto il loro catalogo li ha fatti crescere come musicisti, come band, dicono.

Pare che i concerti in Germania siano stati spostati all'anno prossimo, per accordi promozionali.. non si capisce bene. Posso pensare che i concerti siano stati venduti come tour di supporto ad Oceania, che poi non è uscito, cosa che di certo ha generato un calo di presenze, appeal e in generale un trend non troppo positivo.

This show was by far the worst I've seen so far. Very disappointing actually. There were some highlights but they were over shadowed by the overall poor show Billy and his band put on. Billy seemed to be completely bored on stage, rarely looking at the audience, rarely smiling though it happend like two or three times. Exept for singing the songs he never used the microphone. During the whole show he didn't say one single word, and when the last song was played they all walked off stage without a goodbye, not even waving their hands or nodding their heads towards the crowd. WTF! That really pissed me and a lot of people off. I got the feeling they really hated us, and disliked being at the show at all. To top that off Billy had a weird moment when he suddenly started shouting and pointing angry fingers towards somewhere very close to where I was standing. I didn't see anything going on so I really don't understand why he suddenly got so angry. It was wierd and didn't help to raise the mood. After For Martha the band walked off the stage and didn't get back for an encore, so no Pissant or Bullet for Stockholm. The setlist was ok and the songs were well played though, so listening to it on mp3 would be just fine. But you kind of expect a little more energy and (a lot more) interaction with the audience when you go to a show.

Legittimo criticare le scalette identiche al 100%, quando non ridotte, mossa davvero poco brillante. Tutt'altra cosa è aspettarsi le hit, dopo 4 anni di concerti di sole hit, diperse per i 4 continnti in centinaia di concerti. Si voleva tare un taglio, mettere un punto fermo, ben venga almeno questa promessa di WPC mantenuta.

"Arriveranno in Europa il 5 dicembre 2011 le tanto attese "Deluxe Edition" di Gish e Siamese Dream.
Saranno le prime di una serie di riedizioni che interesseranno tutto il catalogo della band da qui al 2013.

Per l'occasione gli storici album sono stati rimasterizzati dai master originali da Bob Ludwig con la collaborazione di Billy Corgan.
Quattro le versioni in vendita su SmashingPumpkins.com rinnovato per l'occasione: vinile, digitale lossless, CD e 2CD+DVD. Quest'ultima in particolare presenterà un CD bonus con rarità, demo e versioni alternative tratte dalle registrazioni di ogni disco, scovate negli archivi della band.
A completare il tutto ci sarà un DVD inedito con un concerto al Metro di Chicago rispettivamente del 1990 e 1993.

Nel cofanetto saranno inoltre presenti foto inedite e un'intervista di David Wild a Billy Corgan, a ruota libera su nascita degli album e origini delle canzoni, traccia per traccia."
